 Smitten Kitten Rescue is absolutely outstanding! From start to finish, they made adopting our kittens one of the best experiences our family has ever had. The owners were attentive to every need and request, making the process completely seamless, even during a hectic and emotional time in our lives.

Both of our kittens needed to be spayed/neutered and have their shots before the adoption was finalized. Smitten Kitten handled everything, they picked up the kittens, took them to their appointments, and brought them back with clear instructions and exceptional care.

They also recognized that our first kitten would benefit from a friend, and three weeks later they introduced us to her sister. They couldn’t have been more right! Now the two are inseparable, and we can’t imagine them without each other. Even when one of our babies had a small eye injury while playing, the rescue was right there to walk me through the process, ease my fears, and educate me on cat care. Their compassion, knowledge, and genuine love for these animals gave me complete peace of mind.

What sets Smitten Kitten Rescue apart is their dedication to the bigger mission. They work tirelessly to address the cat and kitten crisis in Southeast Idaho, hosting fundraisers, organizing donation drives, and ensuring every kitten gets the best chance at a forever home and exceptional care. I’ve worked with other rescues before, but this was by far the most intimate, loving, and well-organized adoption experience I’ve ever had.

If you’re considering adopting or donating, I cannot recommend Smitten Kitten Rescue enough. Our two kittens have brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our family, and we’ll forever be grateful to this incredible organization. 

 People are kind and helpful. Loved working with them. They helping me find homes to some sweet kittens after there owner passed away. 

 Adopting through Smitten Kitten Rescue was one of the best choices I have ever made. Heidi puts so much love, time, and care into every single kitten and cat she helps. From the very first moment, I could tell my kitten had been well socialized. She is playful, confident, and sweet with everyone she meets. Knowing she came already spayed, vaccinated, and healthy gave me such peace of mind.

I also felt like Heidi personalized our adoption for both me and my kitten to make the best match possible. She does not just find homes for kittens and cats. She makes sure they are ready to thrive in those homes. It is clear how much she truly cares, and the work she puts in shows in the personality and health of every animal she places. I am so grateful to Heidi and Smitten Kitten Rescue for giving me such a wonderful new family member.

 Heidi and family with Smitten Kitten Rescue is amazing. We adopted this beautiful kitten about 5 months ago. He’s been a wonderful addition to our family. The kittens come with all their shots, neutered and litter box trained. Highly recommend adopting from Smitten Kitten. 

 Smitten Kitten Rescue was excellent to work with! Great at communicating, prompt responses. Knowledgeable and willing to teach me things. They take wonderful care of their animals and truly love what they do. Such a great resource for our community. 

 I stumbled upon Smitten Kitten Rescue when I was looking to adopt. I originally found them via Facebook and saw posting of their available kittens. I reached out to the rescue and they were very responsive. The original few kittens I was interested in had already been spoken for, but she asked me for specifics in what I was looking for. We had a few back and forth messages when she sent me some pictures of my sweet Ellie girl. Heidi is extremely nice and knowledgeable. The adoption process was BEYOND easy- I could do it in my sleep. I really appreciated the “pre adoption application” as I feel that is a secure screening tool to protect the animals as well. After paying the adoption fee, all of her records were submitted to the email address I put on file. I’m really NOT joking when I say this was the easiest process ever and all completed within minutes. Heidi brought Ellie to my home and from there I started to foster through Smitten Kitten. I am all about what they stand for and how they run things. There is SO much love, care, and adoration for these fur babies. Needless to say, I also FOSTER FAILED! And adopted two more little babes! I promise you and urge you to adopt through Smitten Kitten. They have the best hearts and such good intentions. I truly admire everything they do and can say this with confidence. 

 Heidi at Smitten Kitten is the best! She made it super easy to adopt our kitty, Juno! They are very reasonably priced for adoption fees (which included her microchip, spay, and updated vaccines)- such a peace of mind knowing she was healthy and not having to worry about any vet visits. We were able to spend more time getting to know her and getting her used to our home. 🥰 would definitely 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to adopt a fur baby. 

Smitten Kitten is dedicated to making the world a better place, one rescued kitten (or pup - they are equal opportunity rescuers!) at a time. I love to see the updates on rescued animals and am honored to donate whenever I can. Theirs isn't just a passion project, they are truly being the change they wish to see in the world. 

 My wife and I found a litter of kittens on the side of the road, and Smitten Kitten took them in! The kittens were unfortunately very sick, but SK did everything they could to nurse the kittens back to health and we ended up adopting one of them! They took such good care of the litter we found and I would absolutely adopt from them in the future. 

 Smitten Kitten Rescue is an awesome rescue that has helped us adopt, foster, and get medical care for our own cat. They are amazing to work with! 

  We were able to adopt one of the precious kittens from Smitten. The process from start to finish went smoothly. They brought her over to
make sure she was a good fit and that we were a good fit for her. We enjoyed working with Heidi to have this bundle of energy take over. The resident kitty isn't fond of being watched over doing her business, but the kitty just loves her to death.
We totally recommend checking out Smitten Kitten Rescue when looking to add a new member to the family. 

Smitten has helped me a few times with kittens without a mom, took them no questions asked. I even went back and adopted one they took, and got a kitty rescued from the Texas floods as well. They were supposed to be "mousers", but Smitten takes such good care of their kitties, they ended up staying inside with us. Super friendly and loveable, I've added a picture of "Tex" kitty rescued from the floods. He for sure couldnt go outside after I met him. 

 I can’t say enough good things about Smitten Kitten Rescue. They are a wonderful team of compassionate people who truly love caring for cats and kittens. They are kind, responsive, and truly committed to the cats in their care. I’ve loved working with Smitten Kitten and am so grateful for the amazing work they do. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to adopt a cat or kitten in the Pocatello or Idaho Falls area!

When I lost my cat of almost 10 years to feline leukemia, I didn’t know where to start to find a new friend. But I knew I was going to be picky. We found this rescue who had the most precious cat and already tested and vaccinated for it; among all the other usual vet care. When we talked they were very serious about taking care of the kittens both prior to adoption, and during adoption. They also were very open about the kitten and its backstory and behaviors. I couldn’t believe how we found such a perfect situation when looking for a new kitten and we were ecstatic with the process as we took her home.

The owners of this rescue are incredibly kind and absolutely have the best interest of animals in mind. They are very dedicated to making the world a better place for all the fur babies that pass through their lives.

I got two beautiful sweet fur babies from Smitten Kitten Rescue Corporation and could not be happier. So helpful, communicative and just made this entire experience wonderful.  Smitten Kitten Rescue was amazing to deal with they helped us to find our amazing boy Copper. Not only did they meet with us when it worked best for us but they even helped to get him to make sure he was all vetted before we got him home. We would definitely adopt from them again!
