SMITTEN KITTEN PALOOZA!

Welcome to Smitten Kitten Palooza! — our Idaho Gives campaign dedicated to rescuing the tiniest, most vulnerable animals in our community. Smitten Kitten Rescue Corporation is a foster-based, nonprofit organization focused on saving orphaned, abandoned, sick, and at-risk kittens who require immediate and often intensive care. From fragile bottle babies to injured strays, we step in when they have nowhere else to turn — helping them heal, grow, and thrive. Our work embodies our guiding purpose: Rescue to Resilience.

While kittens are at the heart of our mission, when we have the space and resources available, we also take in small dogs on a case-by-case basis, extending lifesaving care to even more animals in need.

We are also expanding our impact within the community. With your support, we will soon begin offering Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance to help humanely reduce community cat overpopulation. We are also planning to establish our very own community cat feeding station, providing consistent food, monitoring, and support for local outdoor cats while improving their health and stability.

Looking ahead, one of our biggest goals is to open a dedicated rescue facility with our own building. Currently, we operate entirely through fosters, which limits how many animals we can help at one time. A physical rescue space would allow us to:

• Take in more kittens and small dogs in need  

• Provide quarantine and medical observation areas  

• Offer a safe place for neonatal and critical care cases  

• Host meet-and-greets and adoption events  

• Increase public visibility for adoptable animals  

• Help animals be seen sooner and adopted faster  

• Provide community education and support services  

• Expand TNR and community cat initiatives  

To make this vision a reality, we are working to build sustainable funding and will heavily rely on monthly donations. Recurring supporters provide the stability needed to secure a building, cover operational costs, and ensure we can continue saving lives long-term. Even small monthly gifts create a powerful impact and help move us closer to opening our rescue facility.

As a foster-based rescue, we currently provide critical services including:

• Emergency rescue and intake

• Adoption matchmaking to loving forever homes

Every dollar raised during Smitten Kitten Palooza goes directly toward lifesaving care and future expansion. Donations help fund:

• Heating pads, incubators, and medical equipment
